Angus Buchan Event, Newlands

Believable!

What a privilege to be part of what God is doing all over South Africa.

We were fortunate enough to attend the Angus Buchan event at Newlands over the weekend, and we had the most amazing time in the presence of God. The message was so simple, yet so powerful. There is truly a revival in our country, and we are definitely part of something bigger. Something bigger than ourselves or a big event like this taking place in a big stadium.

God is GREAT and this was once again evident over the course of the weekend.

Saturday's message really touched my heart, and my hearts desire is that I will never be the same again. But that this fire inside of us will also change our families, our friends and our communities. Not because we are better, but because we love them as Jesus loves us.

This weekend was not about Angus Buchan - and he will be the first one to tell you that. Him leading all these event is just an act of obedience and faith. This is about God answering our prayers, and about revival in this wonderful country of ours. About people coming together and declaring that Jesus is Lord of their lives and their families. About people stepping out and shouting God's fame.

It was amazing to see how people left behind their blankets at the end of the evening - there were almost 6000 blankets collected. And there were almost 13000 people who made a first time commitment to Jesus.

As I am sitting hear I am so excited about what is happening - in our family, in our church and in our country.
